There’s More Good News

During these challenging times, I’m choosing to find more moments of gratitude and joy throughout the day. One of the places I find joy is in watching positive local news stories. For me, local news has a vital place in society and it plays an important role. That role is to share hope.

Yes, the news has to share the bad, too. News has a responsibility to expose the bad while providing hope that there can be improvement. News also has a role to shed light on the good in communities. And, there is more good!

I decided to search the word “helping” and find the good news on my local TV news station websites. I hope you’ll like these and share them. Also, I encourage you to give those reporters a follow, a like, a positive message, because today we #ThankAJourno and we thank them for being #PRESSential.
